Trump Rejects Comey-Flynn Reports

President Trump is rejecting reports that he tried to convince now-former FBI Director James Comey to halt the investigation of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.  Trump fired Comey last week.  During a White House news conference yesterday, Trump insisted that Comey was "very unpopular with most people."  He said he thought the firing would be welcomed on a bipartisan basis.

The President called the FBI "special" and vowed to nominate an excellent replacement very soon.  Meantime, Trump was asked if he thinks he has done anything to warrant impeachment.  He responded "It's totally ridiculous; everybody thinks so."
