Listen: Poll Shows a Record Number of Americans Support Stricter Gun Laws

The latest Quinnipiac poll asking Americans if they support more regulations on guns found the highest level of support for gun control in the poll’s history.

The poll found that 66 percent of American voters support stricter gun laws, and a whopping 97 percent say they support universal background checks. In 2015, Quinnipiac surveyed Americans to find that just 47 percent supported stricter gun laws.
