Iowa's Bohannon Intentionally Misses Free Throw

Jordan Bohannon had the chance to break Iowa's all-time record for consecutive free throws made during a recent game against Northwestern. The sophomore point guard had made 34 straight, tying the record held by the late Chris Street. Bohannon purposefully missed his next free throw, so Street's name would remain in the record books.

Street was a Hawkeye legend who died in a tragic car accident in 1993; just three days after setting that record.

Bohannon never met Chris Street, but he has become close with the Street family. The gesture was not lost on Chris's Dad, Mike.
