7 Confirmed Dead Due to Florence in North Carolina

Seven people, including an infant, have been killed by Tropical Storm Florence Friday in North Carolina by, according to local and state agencies.

A mother and infant were killed in Wilmington, N.C. after a tree fell on a house there while the Category 1 hurricane throttled the eastern North Carolina coastline Friday morning. They have first confirmed fatalities related to the storm, according to the Wilmington Police Department.
