Garner police are investigating an armed bank robbery at the Bank of America on Benson Road in Garner.
A firearm was implied during the incident, and the suspect fled the scene before authorities arrived. Officers are securing the perimeter and using a K-9 unit in the search.
The Wake County Sheriff's Office is assisting with the investigation, and more details will be released as the investigation progresses.
